My husband and I hired Art Tarbi and Kaisa Tokoi to facilitate some energy healing work for us to help with my pregnancy and birth experience. My daughter was a week past due, and we wanted to do what we could to facilitate a natural delivery.
We had some concern that there may be some unconscious emotional blockages that may have been contributing to the baby's readiness and sense of security around being born. This was a bit distressing to me as a new mother-to-be.
During the healing session, both Kaisa and Art made my husband and I feel very at ease, and they asked us to remain in a quiet, receptive, and “noticing” space, while they assessed the situation. They started to optimize the conditions surrounding the pregnancy and birth process through their energy healing.
The experience of the energy healing was very calming and comforting, and their intuitive feedback about the issues at hand were very insightful. It was clear that both Kaisa and Art were very comfortable navigating these subtle realms with ease and skill, and they made the work accessible and understandable to us.
What was really amazing however, were the events that transpired after the session. Within 24 hours, we were admitted to the hospital to give birth to our baby girl. My cervix was dilated to 4 cm when we arrived at triage, after having no dilation at all at my appointment the day prior.
The birth experience itself was about as peaceful and harmonious as either of us could imagine. I labored in the delivery room for about 6 hours, at which point I was quite sure that the baby was ready to be born. The doctors came in and remarked how at ease I looked, and how peaceful it was in our room, in contrast to the delivery rooms they had come from.
A doctor started to take me through a practice round of pushing to teach me how to push. It turns out that our baby's head started showing on the first practice push!! With two more pushes, the baby was born, and all the doctors were astonished that this was my first childbirth. The baby was cleaned off and immediately placed on my chest, and found her way to my breast to start her first breastfeeding, which she did with a good deal of ease.
The whole experience was really quite magical for my husband and I, and there was such a sense of harmony with all the doctors and nurses. Additionally, there was barely any tearing during the childbirth, and I healed rapidly after the birth, with minimal discomfort.
Our baby is happy and healthy, and very alert and aware for a newborn. We are taking great joy in our new role as parents. We can't help but think that the work that Kaisa and Art facilitated for us was a catalyst for such a beautiful and timely birthing experience.
They are beautiful people themselves, and it was clear that they had the purest of intentions in their desire to assist and help us. We would highly recommend them to anyone who may be seeking assistance in the birthing process, or moving into parenthood in a deeply supported and conscious way. We are very grateful!
